Title: I'm newbie... xwidget don't found
Post by: Stes on June 21, 2005, 10:51:22 PM
I did what Howto says but when i compiled (./configure) aMule this is what terminal says:

"You need wxWidgets (http://www.wxwidgets.org/) to compile aMule. If you
have wxWidgets installed, please check that wx-config is in path, and
the directory where wxWidgets libraries are installed is in
LD_LIBRARY_PATH or equivalent variable. If you have wx-config in a
non-standard location please use the --with-wx-config=/path/to/wx-config
configure option."

wx-config is in the path, where is the library of wx-config?

macOS X 10.4
powerbook 500
X-code 2.1
wxMac-2.6.1

Thanx and sorry for bad english

hi there

well if you are a newbie why dont you try the latest binary and you dont need to compile anything, just unpack the zip file and run amule :))
get the latest version from
http://download.berlios.de/amule/aMule-Mac-2.0.3.zip

if you still want to compile it, maybe try to tell configure with
--with-wx-config=/path_to_wx-config

where it can find wx-config, and tehn your error should disappear
