Title: Amuled 2.0.3 Cpu 95%+

I have a CPU utilization of 95%+ (amuled process)
about a minute after i run amuled.

The version i am using is 2.0.3

Is there a solution to this?

Is amuled maybe trying to finish (hash) a file? Or hashing new shared files? Take a look at ~/.aMule/logfile or post it here after deleting anything related to copyrighted material!

or your pc a little to weak for the whole thing?!

the PC is a pentium 4 running at 2.1Ghz

i will have a look but i think it is idle at the moment only downloading a few
kilobytes (~4) per second

Is there any special way i should start amuled?

So amuled is not using all of your CPU cycles anymore?

Any ideas?

I only have like 3 files active at the moment. With 100 sources for one file
And 2-3 sources for the other. 32 connections max.

I mean... it is not doing the calculations for a space rocket, is it?

Actually at the moment i have 0 kbytes downstream and 7.7 kbytes upstream only

OK ,

i had a look at the logfile. This is the last line in the logfile
when then client was connected last night.

2005-10-31 20:07:44: Connected to xxxxxxxxxxxx with HighID

Nothing in there after that.

I haven't tried building the current CVS yet.

I went for the 2.0.3 release because i thought it would be safer.

This is the next thing i am going to do. I'll probably do it friday
because am on a trip at the moment.

Also,

the problem only appears when i have active downloads.

With uploads i see no problem. ?(
