Title: After a d/l completes, sources may be lost
Post by: alexliz on November 07, 2005, 04:22:36 PM
When a file completes downloading, it seems that all other downloads in the stack get 0 sources. If I disconnect/reconnect, sources will be found and pursued. Then again, I don't always have this problem; sometimes things go smoothly.

Any ideas as to what I may do to better configure my aMule?

(Moved to the right forum (en_bugs).)

Are you sure it starts losing sources? I've never seen that ever. Are the files losing sources related to the completed one? (same series, or something like that?)

Regards.

Alright, I am not 100% sure it starts losing sources. What I do know that happens is this: when a large file completes downloading, say I wake up and check its progress and I see it's all done, well, at that point it seems that all the other files in the queue (it may be a dozen of them) have 0 sources.

So, it's not like I'm there seeing the sources numbers go down, but I figure it's a little bit too much for *all* the other files to not have *any* sources pretty much every time a big download completes.

alexliz, your profile shows you as using Tiger 10.4.1.  Is that current?  Because there's a bug in Tiger 10.4.0 through 10.4.2 that causes symptoms similar to what you're reporting.  It's not specifically related to when a file completes, it just happens after aMule has been running for a while.  It's fixed in 10.4.3.

Using Tiger 10.4.2. Upgrading to 10.4.3 in a couple of days. Many thanks.
