Hi! I'm using the CVS version (02/02/2004) and when I made a search, and then try to copy the link to clipboard, they don't copy anything. (This happens when we want in HTML format too).
I'm using amule under KDE 3.1.5.

Hi!
It is the same stuff for me! I haven't any 'copy to' which works (server, ed2k, ed2k with source, html....) and even if I try to paste it in a box of amule, so it's not a problem of differents buffers....
-
does it work in 1.2.5 ?
cos i don't have such problems ..
-
No, it doesn't, even with the new amule.cpp of the UTF code problem (see another thread!)
-
how do u copy the links ?
-
Right click (on a file or a server) --> copy ed2k link
But it doesn't work after when I want to paste it since the previous buffer is still there. Nothing has changed...
-
Strange, it works on my side.

ed2k://|server|38.119.96.15|4661|/
works for sure ?(

sometimes there's a problem in clipboard transfer between GTK and KDE applications. When it happens to me, I open standard X app (xterm, xedit...), copy again and paste into it, and then copy and paste into KDE app.
-
Which browser do you use?
If it is mozilla try unsing mozex! Then you dont have to copy it...
Mozilla options:
Edit --> Preferences --> mozex
In the field ED2K enter "/usr/local/bin/ed2k %r"
Then it will work!

It's not the problem... Read again the thread.
-
the problem is still on 1.2.6 :(
I've tried to copy files and servers but nothing happens... the clipboard is empty
It's really strange...

copy ed2k to .. and paste with your mouse .. it works ..
-
There are two clipboards in X11 - The old-style one that uses mouse selecting for copy and middle-click for pasting, and the new style, which uses ctrl+c/ctrl+v or ctrl+ins/shitf+ins. aMule currently uses the old-style clipboard.
Madcat.

Thanks MadCat!
It works now! (with the midle-click).
If possible implement the "new sile" clipboard, too.
Thanks again!
