Hi all, I've installed amule again and again it crash everytime, I cannot understand the reason.
I've searched in var/log/ & /.aMule to look for any logs, (I've checked in amule general debug) but I didn't find anything, the only thing I found is the consolle output:
here the output
http://paste.ubuntu-nl.org/12898
btw, before crash, it prompt this:_
http://paste.ubuntu-nl.org/12899
Pleeease HELP ME, I need of amule. :baby:

remove your amule and wxGTk
reinstall wxGTK-2.6.3 and then reinstall amule -> retry wxGTK-2.6.1 which you got is really old..
-
Tnx...
btw do you know where I can download wxGTk 2.6.3 for debian version?
-
Ok, I generate a deb GTK with alien, hope it works fine.
-
I've got one for Ubuntu Breezy, take a look at the Ubuntu-Thread in the current version-packages-part of the forum.

Mmm, I don't think is a good idea generate a deb from another package .
The wxgtk 2.6.1 from debian is heavly patched and is probably more similar to 2.6.3 than 2.6.1 itself .

no it isn't.

Well, many bugs has been solved, for examples mem leaks and crashes .
On my debian system amule with libwxgtk from debian is rock stable :)

Depends on the version. 2.1.1 is rock-stable, amule-cvs chrashes at beginn of any download. When I finished the locale-split, the first thing I do is trying a wx-2.6.3 pkg.
