Wie gehe ich vor, um den richtigen Ort zu finden und diesen amuled mitzuteilen?

Hi! I have realized that if i use amule under wayland in Plasma 6.3.6 desktop environment (Debian Trixie), aMule 2.3.3 can't display the tray icon.

If i launch the aplicacion from konsole i can see this message: (amule:4054): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 10:24:53.100: gtk_widget_get_scale_factor: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed
I'm not sure if this message is related to the missing icon... but I suppose it is, because i have no error if i launch under X11 (where icon is is displayed normally).

Posible workaround: In Wayland, i was able to run aMule with

GDK_BACKEND=x11 variable, restoring back the missing icon.
So, the bug has a temporary workaround, but I thought it would be a good idea to notify the developers about this circumstance.

Thats why you need more moderators who are still alive and using aMule today. I think I eMailed/Messaged Gonosz last year asking for limited access to send the spam to /trash as it would be clogged up for months end here.

Sorry for the late reply. The mods is just the mod, as I'm alone here. Just cleaning registrations problems took me 10 hours now, so I start such things only when I really have time for it. Not to mention all that stuff that need to be reviewed before for the new users which is almost the same amount of spam that only I can see scattered over the whole forums.

Bonjour, j'utilise Amule sous Ubuntu 24-04...et je suis toujours en low id.
Mon fournisseur internet est Starlink, ils disent que les ports que j'utilise sont ouverts.
Je n'ai pas de routeur ni pare feu entre ma connexio internet et mon ordi.
J'ai des routeurs sur mon reseau privé , mais sont pas intermediaires.
Avez vous une solution pour etre en high id...

I used the Git Source that was in the MacPorts respotory because i needed a normal compiled not cross compiled build (the cosscompiled build x86/AAPL cpu has no upnp)

Are you using the shipped projects? I can't test atm. but cmake should set the right arch.

No, I made some custom changes. I’ll double-check the CMake settings just to be sure.
