Merci d'avance

Current version is: aMule GIT compiled with wxOSX Cocoa v3.0.5 and Boost 1.76 (Snapshot: rev. 2.3.3-42-ge26d06a6e) Running on: Mac OS X (Darwin 22.6.0 x86_64) 0x10e85077a : CAsioUDPSocketImpl::HandleRead(boost::system::error_code const&, unsigned long) in /opt/local/bin/amule 0x10f13bc68 : wxPrivate::GetUntypedNullData()::s_untypedNullData in /opt/local/Library/Frameworks/wxWidgets.framework/Versions/wxWidgets/3.0/lib/libwx_baseu-3.0.0.5.0.dylib -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I used the Git Source that was in the MacPorts respotory because i needed a normal compiled not cross compiled build (the cosscompiled build x86/AAPL cpu has no upnp) |

Are you using the shipped projects? I can't test atm. but cmake should set the right arch. No, I made some custom changes. I’ll double-check the CMake settings just to be sure. |

After a normal use, aMule yesterday started not opening. Trying to launch by terminal the system answer "There is an instance of aMule already running". I tried to unistall and install again, but I found the same problem. So I don't know how to proceed.

In addition I can say that in the firewall the ports are open (both TCP and UDP) and that the commands used are:
/usr/bin/amuled --full-daemon --pid-file=/home/my_user/.aMule/MyLog/amuled.pid --log-stdout /usr/bin/amuleweb --write-config --password=my_password --admin-pass=my_password --host=localhost --port=64712 --server-port=64711 --deny-guest /usr/bin/amulegui --log-stdout --skip Thank you in advance for your answers. Hello everyone,
I have a problem on openSuse Tumbleweed with aMule. Granted that I've been using it without problems since 2018, since last week I can't get it to run, despite doing NOTHING and still using the same old bash script, written by me many years ago. The problem is: amuled starts (full-daemon, and I see it with “ps -ef”) but amulegui says it has connection problems with localhost. The error is: “Connection failed. Unable to connect to localhost:64712. Connection failed.” I also tried running amuleweb but it too goes to error. Any ideas? |

Hello
I have ubuntu 24.10 and I just isntalled aMule from the repos aMule GIT Snapshot: rev. 2.3.3 All looks working fine but I have an NTFS drive where I can save my downloaded data (my main hard drive have low space for downloads). My desired shared folders are on mounted drive (auto mounted by Ubuntu) is on: "/media/user/Nuevo vol/Emule/Temp" "/media/user/Nuevo vol/Emule/Incoming" When I go to aMule and Try select /media, a error says: "Error opening directory "media": Permission Denied" user@machine:~$ ls -l /media/user/Nuevo\ vol/Emule/ total 76 drwxrwxrwx 1 user user 73728 feb 9 17:18 Incoming drwxrwxrwx 1 user user 4096 feb 5 20:59 Temp Emule and subfolders have full permisions, but /media is owned by root and sure is the problem. Whats the best configuration in this case? |

I'm using amule on an ubuntu pc, my net connection is through a wifi connection to a router; after authenticating on the router, another authentication is required to access the internet. Periodically, I'd say that the router desconnects me from the internet and asks againg for the second authentication.
I'd say that there the crash happens. Here is the crash log: Code: [Select] 2025-02-03 14:35:18: Initialising aMule 2.3.3 compiled with wxGTK2 v3.2.4 and Boost 1.83 |

I tried to search for a problem similar to mine but it seems that no one has reported it.
The operating system I work with is OpenSUSE 15.6. The version of aMule that is giving me problems now is "aMule 2.3.3 Snapshot" "git 20210426" This version arrived as an official update from the repository a few days ago and started giving me the problem that I describe. The source is the Packman repository. Unfortunately in the version history in the OpenSUSE package manager, YAST, the previous version is no longer visible so I can't say which one it was, nor go back easily. The problem that is generating me is the lack of content in the statistics page. The page is displayed but without content, there are neither the usual boxes, nor the statistical data, nothing "in movement", nor any other component, a blank page is displayed. I have never used skins before, always leaving the default, but given the presence I tried to select, one at a time, all the available ones, hoping it was just a problem with a skin, but without any different result, the statistics page remains empty. Is anyone able to tell me if this problem is easily solved and how? |
