It makes no sense to keep hard cap on 100kB/s slots allocations in modern time. For swarming why can't we 2.5x raise it to 256KB/s at least? I rather have 4x 250KB/s chunking than 10x 100KB/s for better source exchange as it would be more efficient.

Hi. Recently I temporarily deleted my local .aMule folder. When I proceeded to unpack my backup .aMule file, it was corrupted. Now, starting to run amule from scratch, it cannot connect anymore. Looking at the networks button, I can see that I need to know the name,ip and por for the servers for ed2k, and just ip and port for kad.

So where I can find lists for both? Any other meaningful tip?

since many months now (maybe years), aMule refuse to connect me to this server and I can't understand why, I'm a very, very old (2006) amule user, never had connection problems since more than 18 years, but since theses days, when I want to connect this server (which is apparently "OK" in all servers.met lists), Igot these lines :

So, as you can see, i don't have problems, except for this eMule Sunrise (176.123.5.89 : 4725) server and it's very sad, 'coz it has much more files and users than the others and it seems that connected guys (30750560 at the time, against 12308841 for eMule Security) have no problems.

Any idea ?

Maybe your files are asked by few people, so either you or they run out of slots.

Why is my upload speed so much slower than my connection capacity? I have a lot of files in the queue even though the uploaded files are being downloaded very slowly. My connection is much faster and could allow me to share more files faster.

How do I tell amule to make faster uploads?

My preferences are setted to max upload and 100 kB/s slot allocation.

salve, ho aMule installato su mx linux 21 libretto con KDE. Le porte ed il firewall sono ben configurate, l'ID è alto . Quando si avvia è veloce e scarica senza problemi ma dopo qualche minuto comincia a rallentare...come mai? Quale può essere il problema?
