Low-ID after crash?!?
« on: July 04, 2004, 01:06:52 PM »

Hello all!

I don't know if this is a bug, but everytime I get my aMule crashing and I restart it manually, I get a Low-ID, whichever server I connect to.

I just have to completely *reboot* my machine (and this remembers me Windows-like behaviour  X( ) and then I get back my High-ID.

My router's integrated firewall is correctly set up, permittin TCP 4662 and UDP 4672 to pass through and reach my PC.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Probably the port is still in use.

Try netstat -at after the crash and search for the port you use; it is probably still there.

If the process isnt still on, you can wait a little for linux to clear it. Maybe theres a better way?
