hi,

this bug has allready been discuted somewhere. After putting amule in systray mode, i cannot have the window back (i have only acces to the systray : i cannot add download, remove somes etc.).

I'm using amule rc8 (compiled with enable-optimise, systray is non-UTF8, gtk is 1.x, wx 2.4.2, distro is debian sarge, windowmanager is XFCE 4). Yesyerday it worked, not today, i do not know why...

I had the same problème using fluxbox and rc7. It seems not to appear with KDE.

Thanks for your attention.

Something i forget to tell :
I've tried to run a second instance of amule in a console, but that doesn't help.

same here...

just installed rc8, and after a day running i clicked the amule icon in the tray and doesn't show up.
Using Ubuntu (Debian) with GNOME 2.8.0, compiled with wx2.5.3, using GTK2, and optimized flags.
Any ideas?

you can run amule again and it will raise the current windows.

Are you selecting the correct systray integration?

well.. i tried to run amule again and nothing happens. Same thing occurs..
I use amule since 1.2.x and i've tried all the 2.0 rc versions, and this only happens in rc8..
Yes i have GNOME systray integration.

good luck finding this annoying bug...

It does, I use KDE 3.3.2 (Debian experimental) and it hapened to me today. Starting amule again gives me:

$ amule
Initialising aMule
Raised current running aMule
aMule already running: exiting

The window doesn't get raised however.
