"fatal Error"
« on: January 05, 2006, 01:07:47 PM »

Hi,

the last time I tried to close amule it crashed during the shutdown procedure. I got the following error messages on the console using gdb:
Code: [Select]
Shutting down aMule...
aMule dialog destroyed
[Thread 1119570864 (zombie) exited]
Now, exiting main app...
aMule OnExit: Terminating core.
Saving PartFile 9 of 58WriteTagToFile; Ignored tag with unknown type=0x00
*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x08c56c68 ***

Program received signal SIGABRT, Aborted.
[Switching to Thread 1085274272 (LWP 4613)]
0x407229e7 in raise () from /lib/tls/libc.so.6
Now I can't start amule any more. I always get a windows titled "FATAL ERROR" in which there is only an OK button - it can't be clicked, though. After the crash, I can find the following messages on the console (gdb):
Code: [Select]
Initialising aMule

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
[Switching to Thread 1085274272 (LWP 4764)]
0x4058a6ef in wxInputStream::Read () from /usr/local/lib/libwx_base-2.6.so.0

Has anyone got any idea how to make amule start again?

[EDIT] Oops, amule didn't start because I just accidently moved my .aMule directore...  8) Anyway, I still got this shutdown error, doesn't disturb me much but perhaps it will help you fixing a minor bug.  :D
