Yesterdae I run the aMuled and put some links to download ...

Today I use amuleweb to see how working is aMule and I see that amuleweb don't work very fine :-(

I use "top" command (in shell) and I see that used linux swaping is very very high !!

With Debian 3.1 / aMule 2.1.3 used linux swaping every time is 0 bytes !

I make one capture of top command http://fileserver6.jpghosting.com/images/Dibujo_4cf64b2272ceb903581d2dde7695f856.JPG

After that I use amulecmd to shutdown amuled.

In log I see

2008-03-03 14:31:33: ExternalConn.cpp(252): Connecting client: aMulecmd SVN
2008-03-03 14:31:33: ExternalConn.cpp(307): Access granted.
2008-03-03 14:33:00: ExternalConn.cpp(1058): ExternalConn: shutdown requested
2008-03-03 15:17:01: Disconnected from Kad
2008-03-03 15:17:33: Disconnected from ED2K

45 min to shutdown aMuled , I this is because swap if very high.

Is normal that SVN version use a lot of memory (compared with v2.1.3) ??

Salutations

Last week I compiled aMule v2.1.3 with wxWidgets 2.8.7  and the problem persist.

I don't know if the problem is Debian v4.0 or wx 2.8.7.

See :

Mem:    126164k total,   124088k used,     2076k free,      340k buffers
Swap:   265064k total,   114488k used,   150576k free,     5484k cached

Downloading 10 files  and 5 files in incoming.

Running 4 or 5 hours.

Next weekend I will try to compile amule 2.1.3 with wx 2.6.1 and see if amuled still using a lot of memory ...

Hi It's good to find another Kurobox user here  :). I have a Sylver image running on it, and I also noticed that since a lot of time (if I remember well at the beginning of last year) it happens that sometime amuled start to swap a lot and use a lot of CPU. I can't remember if it happened after a specific version of amuled or after some change of wxwidgets. The biggest problem is that it seems to happen randomically. I found amuled running fine for days while after a reboot after few hours it started to swap and use full CPU. I don't know if we can do any further tests. Bye!
