OS/2 version - doesn't connect
« on: May 01, 2006, 01:51:35 AM »

I start amuled.exe. Run amuleweb. But I cannot connect or see any servers. When amuled starts it says:

-------------------------------------------
[E:\amule]amuled
amuled: OnInit - starting timer
Initialising aMule
Checking if there is an instance already running...
Loading temp files from \amule\Temp.

All PartFiles Loaded.
ListenSocket: Ok.

*** TCP socket (ECServer) listening on 0.0.0.0:4712
*** Server UDP socket (TCP+3) at 0.0.0.0:4665
*** TCP socket (TCP) listening on 0.0.0.0:4662
*** Client UDP socket (extended eMule) at 0.0.0.0:4672
Empty dir \amule\Incoming\ shared
-------------------------------
Shouldn't there be an ip address listed for each port instead of 0.0.0.0?

0.0.0.0 means is listening on all interfaces, this has nothing todo with connection or smth alike

what you still could try is to update your server.met file with the help of wget or smth alike

wget http://ocbmaurice.dyns.net/pl/slist.pl?download/server-best.met

and save it in your .aMule dir, at restart amuled should pick it up
