Every 2 seconds aMule goes into state "D" (uninterruptible sleep) for about 2 seconds and the system waitstates go to 80%. The following 2 seconds, aMule operates normaly, dl/up, hashing and everything works fine.
During aMule's "hickup", harddisk activity is very high (reiserfs/0 goes into "D" as well), but it doesn't disturb anything else in the system (no prob burning DVD at 4x, compiling gimp 2.0.0 without nice and playing DOTT with scummvm, all at the same time).
Since I recently updates to Linux 2.6.4, I suspect this as the case, but aMule 1.2.6 runs just fine (I made a backup of the aMule config files before upgrading).
