Search without filetype not working
« on: October 31, 2004, 05:52:27 PM »

Hello,

is this bug already fixed ? I used CVS from a few days ago and i can't get any search results except if i also give a filetype like audio or video.
If i choose filetype every no results are returned.

realcruncher,

Search works fine for me in last CVS. Both local and global searches do well with file type any.

Cheers.

Wasn't that a bug in wxGTK 2.4 with GTK2 support ?

Maybe upgrade your wxGTK ? :)

wxgtk 2.4 should never be linked against gtk2. It's not even supported by wx developers ;)

Sorry - i tested several versions and servers. Search is not working.
Environment:
Debian Sarge
libwxgtk2.4
libgtk1.2

libgtk2.0 is also available but i gave --disable-gtk2 as configure parameter.

Anything else that you can propose ?

Thanks

I still have a similar problem with 22/11 cvs:
I get results only if I select "any" or "audio" as file type.
No results with other file types.

Anybody else with this problem?

are those local or global searches?
there's a user reporting problems with global searches since 18/11 cvs.

I just moved away my .eMule and .aMule but the problem is always the same.
I'm using wx2.4.2 linked to gtk1.2.10 and amule cvs of yesterday.

rc7 works fine.
