« on: February 24, 2006, 09:56:55 PM »

hi there! I'm using the latest release of aMule and it's always worked since some days ago. Preciselly, since razorback was closed, I haven't been able to connect to any other server... I don't know what it is, kad works just fine.

anybody there?? I saw that every attept to connect fails for time-out. The only server I can connect to seems to be "FreeOsex" (sorry, it's not spam...) and the funny thing is that it gives me a high id... so this demonstrates my problem is not releted to firewalls/Nat and so on... what's going no? :(

most ed2k servers are down atm because of some issues...

google for a new server.met and update it

retry EVERY server there is since its not sure which one works and which one not

ok, I found the problem... There must be something releted to how gurddog configure the firewall :|
If I turn it off, everything works just fine...
Has anybody managed to configure guarddog in order to let aMule work? I opened the required ports, but that doesn't seem to fully work because, as I said, I can't connect to any server but one or two... the puzzling thing is that when I'm connected, I get a high id... oh man!
