Amule won't connect to majority of servers
« on: April 22, 2006, 01:48:59 PM »

Hi

I used to run Amule 2.03 on a Suse 9.3 box behind a router without problems for months connecting with High-ID. Recently (last couple of days or so) it wouldn't connect to any of the Donkey#1-->#X servers or most of the other ones that typically worked.

Upgraded to 2.1.1 today but the same problem happens. Forwarded Ports used to be set to 4663 TCP and 4673 UDP so I changed it to 4662 and 4672 to see if it made any difference. It didn't.

Have a Windows machine running eMule on the same network using the same settings which works fine (one system is set to port 4662 and the other to 4663) and connects to all the servers that now don't work on the Linux box. Therefore it cannot be a network misconfiguration on my end.

Has anybody been experiencing similar issues recently or is there something weird about my setup?  ?(

Oh well, seems to be working again. Seems like either a problem at the ISP or otherwise some kind of issue at the Donkeyserver. More likely the server by the looks of things.
