Title: [Solved]Kad: off. Why?

Hi.
I use an UDP port that works with emule. The problem only shows with amule. Kad stays off even after loading new nodes.dat, and connecting via connect button does not help. Kad is chosen in preferences. My ubuntu uses no firewall.

To repeat, a parallelly configured emule under XP works just fine.  ?(

I have a download with only 1 source, and this source is Kad, of course, and changing to XP only for emule... does not rock intensely.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Problem is already solved.
He did use ports lower than 1024 and these were blocked on Linux. Now everything works fine using a port higher than 1024.
