Linux is quite popular in China. But most Chinese users, unlike me, are not comfortable with software in English. It would be really nice to have a Chinese version of aMule.
Just to show you that it is possible to display Chinese in aMule, I have done a quick test. Open the attached image to see the screen shot. The only place that is not displayed properly is the statistic graph. I guess it not really an issue.
I will start working on the full translation, hope I can make it by ver 1.2.6.

i DO like oriental chars, chinese and jap, but applications are so ugly :)

It is my GTK1 Chinese font setting. I guess it will look much better on the Chinese version of Redhat Linux or native Chinese Linux like RedFlag Linux. :)

Just a suggestion. Instead of posting updates in every translation thread, maybe we should have a mailing list for i18n issues.

i'll propably add the file to cvs .. so everytime we have any changes u can get the newest one if u update your cvs

Ok. But I don't update aMule CVS frequently. So please let me know when the amule.pot is updated.
