hi there
I'd like to make groups in my download-list. (you could know e.g that from you email-client)
I see two possibilities to implement this (actually, you can implement and use both at the same time):
1) one can give every single download a color (which will be shown as the background-color for this download). my email-client (thunderbird) uses this to mark a msg as important or "todo" or so...but you can also use this to group some downloads visually
2) one can add two or more downloads to a group (something like threaded view in tb). you could show the total download rate of the whole group without showing the group's "members" but one can also show all members of the group.
both add usability for everyone I'd say. with the 2nd implementation, you could group the files so, that you only see 10 "downloads" instead of 1000 ;)
...sorry for my english, i'm doing quite bad today.

you have both already
create a categorie and asign each download to those...
-
I don't see the possibility to create such a category... oO
-
You see the tab 'all' in the transfer-window. Right-click at it and choose 'Add category' to create a new one.

well, I already tried that decades ago...but nothing happens on a right click onto the "All"-tab.
should I call this a bug? ;)

You have to hold the right mouse button, elsewise disappears the menu instantly
-
I did that as well. no menu. just nothing happens.
I even tried middle click and the mouse wheel and whatever ;)
-
it works here... :]

OK, does a right-click open a menu when you click at the head of the list? (I mean the row with 'file name', 'size' and so on)
