Hey Lionel. Major kudos for hearing our cries (well mine mostly :-P) for a new CVS. Unfortunately, this version doesn't have the ability to double click! I know that you need to do something through terminal, but honestly, I am really horrible with programming and terminal stuff like that.
Would you please please PLEASE consider making a quick update including both the terminal start but also the double click method? A simple warning would be okay about using CVSs I think. Thanks for your consideration on this matter. I'd really love to use this new version!

Blame Kry :P
You have to start aMule with the command line option --only-chuck-norris-would-stop-me, maybe is there someone who could write a shell script for Mac which could be started with double click. (I'm sorry, I could easily write one for Linux, but I don't know about Mac. :( )

Well, in principle one could simply comment out the check for the switch in the code before compiling aMule, but I'm not gonna do that because Kry seems to have pretty strong feelings about this.
Creating a shell script or some other kind of workaround does not make any sense imho. It would undermine Kry's intention of making the binary a little more difficult to start just the same way as releasing a double-clickable version would, but it would do so in a more clumsy manner.
So the bottom line is, if you want this to be changed, you're gonna have to convince Kry. In the meantime I suggest you just give the starting-through-the-terminal thing a try. The instructions I provided in the CVS thread should be really simple to follow. :)
