Hi, just wondering about the "completed sources" in my shared files - it say there are completed sources (other than mine) but there are red chunks turning up in the "obtained parts" - this is explained as no one else having this part, but it says there are other completed sources, I am confused by this and wish to know if there are other full version on the network or if they are only part version, as I don't wish to cause incomplete files to be out there if I delete the file off my system (if I have finished with it) because I know how annoying it can be trying to get the full version (thankfully that hasn't occured yet).
Thanks for any feedback ?(

It can also happen the other way round: all chunks are blue but the number of complete sources is listed as 0.
Unfortunately, I can't offer you a real explanation. My hunch is that a client reporting that he has the file complete is somewhat independent from the reporting of the completed chunks, hence the discrepancies in some cases. Maybe someone with a deeper understanding of this can elaborate more.
My guess is that you should be able to safely remove the file if aMule tells you there are 5 complete sources or so for it, even if all the chunks are displayed as red.

Completely forgot -- another way to get information on the distribution of files is this service (http://tothbenedek.hu/ed2kstats/). It's kinda a dumbed down version of the stats feature of Razorback 2, which unfortunately is not available anymore.

And it's not recomended in any way by me. It stresses the servers - razorback's starrts were based on actual values in memory, while that service STRESSES ALL SERVERS ON ITS SERVER LIST WITH ONE PACKET TO EACH ONE PER USER QUERY.
