Title: emule-compatibility
Post by: xgrtl on February 18, 2004, 06:03:58 PM
Hi everyone!

i suppose mine will be an obvious question, but i'm new to amule and i don't know if it's an obvious yes or no

i have to be permanently switching between linux and windows (my family is scared of linux) and I would want to be downloading files all the time. can I use the same shared folder in linux (with amule) and windows (with emule)? are the .part and .part.met files compatible? can I do the same with edonkey instead of emule? can there be any uppercase-lowercase issue?

thanks in advance

The part files are compatible, yes.

About the case issue.. I thinks not.

about edonkey, you cannot import edonkey part files right now.
