Hi all, I'm using the cvs version of amuled and all was going good, but some files keeps in "completing" status and never arrive to completion.
I have done a md5sum to one of this files (since now 3 files, 2 still in emule, 1 deleted and downloading again) and it sorts an input/output error.
Is there any solution to complete the files ? the one I deleted was a rar file, I checked it with rar t and it had a crc error, that's why I deleted it.
thanks
eDIT: I thought about importin the files with mldonkey and finish them with it, may this be possible?

that's weird, I copied all temp files to another pc, 020.part, one of this files, copied with an input-output error, al the others copied fine.
Now, 6-8 hours after, that 020.part is completed and the other file that was hanging in "competing" now has these:
size:981,74MB
completed:259,77MB
transfered:985,26MB
The pc where I'm downloading now has a today's cvs version of amuled packages

Hi, I'm having the same problem for days. And only one part to complete the file! Here is the log:
2007-02-19 01:15:11: Downloaded part 30 is corrupt in file: the.idiot.dvdrip-bObleJet.cd2.avi
2007-02-19 01:15:19: AICH-Recovery: IO failure while hashing part-file '/home/marreco/.aMule/Temp/076.part':
SafeIO::IOFailure: Error reading from file: Input/output error
Is there a solution? Thanks in advance.

New hard disk drive.
-
But why did it happen only with this file?
-
Because not all your hard disk drive is damaged?

Thank you Kry, for your answer. It really sounds logical now to me, after you wrote it.
What kills me is that there is only one part left to transfer!! =(

I too have several files that I've been waiting for over a month now too complete. They are for example: 3.70 of 3.71 Gb in size complete. Are they hopelessly never going to finish or what? In the old forum i happended to see a solution, but foolish me, never having the problem, never copied a possible solution. Now I can't find it.
Thanks for all the help,
Rich
