Title: [solved] ed2k remote
Post by: tom on August 29, 2006, 09:04:56 AM
Hi,

I wonder if anyone of you can help me:

I´ve got 2 computers. One is used as a server running 24/7 - the other one is my workstation.
On the server theres an amuled, and on the workstation is a monolithic installation and a remote gui (don´t ask why - it´s necessary :-)

Now my question:
Is it possible to link the ed2k protocoll from my workstations browser to use the ed2k program on my server and to add the download to my amuled?

I already tried to run the servers browser via X11 forwarding on my workstation, but clicking a ed2k link adds the download to my monolithic workstation amule.

Thanks in advance for any answers,
Tom
