I'm using Mandriva Linux release 2007.0 (Cooker) for x86_64. I've installed many versions of aMule, included aMule-2_1_3-1_mdk2006_0_x86_64.rpm, but when I start the program I always get nothing but the following:

   mycomputer:~> amule
   Initialising aMule
Checking if there is an instance already running...
   No other instances are running.

aMule remains waiting forever and no window of the program pops up. Could you help me in achieving aMule to work? Thanks a lot.
