I have resently had a new internet connection. Before i had a 256/128 kbits/s line but now I have downloaded with 2800 KB/s from an ftp. I am not sure how fast the upload is and I dont know how to test it.
My problem is that the upload and the queue is almost non existent. I have tried all kinds of configurations. The upload is not stabilizing but jumps up and down, uploader are trown off after 0 - 500 kb downloads. The queue is not there!
I have tried to download some iso images with bittorrent, seems to be a bit of the same problem. Uploads are from 0-5 KB/s.
well thats it.. I run linux 2.6.1, amule 1.2.6 (just downloaded and installed it, did'nt help)
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, the upload is now quite stable on 1o KB/sek. The queue is still not there but at least it works now.
Out of curiosity:
1. how do i test my real upload speed
2. Is the problems I have had due to the high speed of my new connection? Has Amule and other p2p applications problems with to fast a connection. As I wrote I have tried it on bittorrent and also on emule on winXP. The up and download is much slower than it was before (10 up, 10 down) and still I am able to download 2800 KB/sek from ftp..
If anybody has an answer, thanks in advance.
