An rpms for CVS of Dec 17th, for Mandriva 2007, based on wxGtk 2.8.0 final.
Find rpms for
wx-gtk2-unicode-2.8-0 (http://www.oldfrog.info/Linux/RPMs/wx-gtk2-unicode-2.8-0.i586.rpm)
wx-i18n-2.8-0 (http://www.oldfrog.info/Linux/RPMs/wx-i18n-2.8-0.i586.rpm)
aMule-CVS-20061217-mdv7 (http://www.oldfrog.info/Linux/aMule/aMule-CVS-20061217-mdv7.i586.rpm)
-
Thanks a lot for rpms, I test Mandriva and I'm a newbie on compilation (I hate this !). But linkks for aMule-CVS-20061217-mdv7 doesn't work anymore ? Thanks for community.
-
Have a look here (http://linfreak.zapto.org/amule/cvs/Mandriva_2007/) for CVS rpms for Mandriva 2007.
Note:This rpms only work with wxGTK provided by Mandriva. If u use wxGTK version 2.6.8 like Oldfrog rpms they dont work, since amule devs only recommend wxGTK-2.6.8 u can forget the link above....
Cheers....
-
Hi wardevil!
It's 2.8.0 not 2.6.8 ;)

Yes, I don't keep old stuff.
Here one for the New Year :
aMule/aMule-CVS-20070101-mdv7.i586.rpm (http://www.oldfrog.info/Linux/aMule/aMule-CVS-20070101-mdv7.i586.rpm)

It seems to work fine well, thanks a lot. :baby:

In fact, I've now a new problem and I don't know why.
I've got a lot, a very lot, of "(amule:6901): GLib-WARNING **: poll(2) failed due to: Argument invalide." that appears in console and aMule closes with this :
A fatal error has occurred and aMule has crashed.
Please assist us in fixing this problem by posting the backtrace below in our
'aMule Crashes' forum and include as much information as possible regarding the
circumstances of this crash. The forum is located here:
http://forum.amule.org/board.php?boardid=67
If possible, please try to generate a real backtrace of this crash:

Give a try to the last CVS snapshot I uploaded (http://forum.amule.org/thread.php?threadid=11842&sid=). GLib warning are normal, it happens in most applications using it.
Aboiut the crash when quitting, all you show is not from amule but from wxGtk.
-
Thanks a lot for your rpm.
My problem is not a crash when quiting but a crash making me quit.
I will try your last snapshot. Thanks.
-
In fact, it's the same thing, same problem, I don't understand.
-
Did you update all your stuff with the latest updates (See repositories in Easy Urpmi (http://easyurpmi.zarb.org)) As I said, your crash is not related to aMule, but to bad wxGtk functions. Maybe your Gtk2 libs are not updated.
Another thing : explain what you were doing when it crashes. Because your log is not signifcant of a specific action, it's lookas like only bad handling of socket on file transfer or something like that.
-
I made upadate, I have wxGTK2.8.0,and if I do nothing mul crashes.
