Title: amule is starting but not opening a window

i'm running the latest amule on Mac OS X 10.4 on a ibook g4
some days ago amule was running normally but the next time i opened it, it opens and is shown in the dock as well as in the menu bar but it doesn't open a window so i can't use it.

here is the console thing:

Do you mean that you were running aMule and when you tried to bring the app to the foreground, the aMule window had vanished?

That can sometimes happen if your CPU is under a heavy load, when unhiding a window. When it happens, I would just quit and restart aMule and everything should be fine again. :)

it appears to be that simple, but i quit amule and restarted the computer -  nothing changed. i tried several times to launch amule now but it still doesnt work. i even installed the newest version of amule but its the same problem.

Oh wait, you are saying that the aMule window vanishes immediately after starting aMule (or it never even appears)?

Maybe you should try to (temporarily) disable aMule's current settings:
- quit aMule
- rename the amule settings folder "~/Library/Application Support/aMule" (the ~ here represents your home folder) to something like "~/Library/Application Support/aMule_old"
- start aMule

i didnt use amule since then but now i tried to really erase all of it by deleting all the library items of it then i downloaded it again and now it works. but thanks very much for helping anyway this forum is great!
