I built these for Mandriva 2007 so as to have a compatible version. I'll upload from time to time a CVS version of aMule CVS built against it (And the soon to come release :P ).
CVS as of Dec 17th, for Mandriva 2007, based on wxGtk 2.8.0 final.
wx-gtk2-unicode-2.8-0 (http://www.oldfrog.info/Linux/RPMs/wx-gtk2-unicode-2.8-0.i586.rpm)
wx-i18n-2.8-0 (http://www.oldfrog.info/Linux/RPMs/wx-i18n-2.8-0.i586.rpm)
aMule-CVS-20061217-mdv7 (http://www.oldfrog.info/Linux/aMule/aMule-CVS-20061217-mdv7.i586.rpm)

slt
merci pour les rpm :baby:
apres avoir installé les trois fichiers je n'arrive pas a lancer amule :(
j'ai ce message d'erreur
amule: error while loading shared libraries: libwx_gtk2u_adv-2.8.so.0
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
j'ai chercher sur des sites de rpm mais je n'ai pas trouver de fichier avec la version 2.8
si le probleme vient d'une librairie manquante pourrait tu me dire ou la trouver
merci

libwx_gtk2u_adv-2.8.so.0 is part of wx-gtk2-unicode-2.8.0. So thsis one is certainly not installed.
As this 2.8.0 may have some common files with the standard 2.6.3 lib part of the distro, you need to install it using the following command
rpm -ivh wx-gtk2-unicode-2.8-0.i586.rpm --nodeps --force
And a new package
aMule-CVS-20061223-mdv7.i586.rpm (http://www.oldfrog.info/Linux/aMule/aMule-CVS-20061223-mdv7.i586.rpm)

thanks for this help :baby:
i m sorry but i have another probleme
when i launch amule, i have this message:
This binary requires you to use the flag --even-if-lfroen-complains-this-will-stay and only if you're very sure of it. Warning: If you're lfroen, you might find this annoying. That pleases me.
i d'ont understand what is the problem ?
thanx and merry christmas

Ask Kry ;)
You have to start aMule this way: amule --even-if-lfroen-complains-this-will-stay
CVS versions might be broken and might cause damage, when there's bugged code inside. To make sure that you know what you are doing you have to add the start flag.

Give a try to this one
aMule-CVS-20061224-mdv7.i586.rpm (http://www.oldfrog.info/Linux/aMule/aMule-CVS-20061224-mdv7.i586.rpm)
You should find the correct menu entry (with the right command dedicated to lfroen :P) in "Internet/Transfert de Fichiers/aMule-CVS" - "Internet/File Transfer/aMule-CVS" in all desktops
[EDIT] And Merry XMas to you too ;)

Normal, I see you installed wx-2.4.2, just wondering why, as the only "standard" package using wxGtk is vlc for some interface (I guess it's old stuff from a previous mandrake update).
Anyway, you can install it (It won't harm anything, I tried already :) ) using this command in a console :
rpm -ivh wx-i18n-2.8-0.rpm --nodeps --force
or
rpm -ivh --replacefiles wx-i18n-2.8-0.rpm

New version for today's snapshot

aMule, aMule-Gui, aLinkCreator and wxCas have menu entries in "Internet/File Transfer."

Oldfrog can you make another mandriva cvs rpm pls ;D
Ooops, forgot to go on these ones.
Built against wxGtk2.8.4 RPMs you can find here (http://www.oldfrog.info/Linux/RPMs/), use aMule-CVS-20070714-mdv7.i586.rpm (http://www.oldfrog.info/Linux/aMule/aMule-CVS-20070714-mdv7.i586.rpm)
As usual, don't forget to uninstall any previous version of wxGtk 2.8 before to avoid bad links. There is no issue with the standard 2.6 libraries.
