Title: KAD problem !!

When I try to download nodes,  I get this information in the "Logi aMule" window:

2006-12-22 23:49:26: The URL http://download.overnet2000.de/nodes.dat returned: 404 - Error (6)!
2006-12-22 23:49:26: Failed to download the nodes list.

Can anyone help ??

Since overnet2000 is down this nodes.dat won't work anymore.

Try http://home.arcor.de/c0ug4r/Nodes.dat/nodes.dat instead; I hope this one works for you. If not should connecting to a server and downloading something give you some nodes as well.

I tried the new adress, but the information I get this time is:

2006-12-23 12:47:49: Invalid response from http download server
2006-12-23 12:47:49: Failed to download the nodes list.

Has anybody got some other adresses ?

You can also download a nodes.dat file with your web browser, and put it into ~/Library/Application Support/aMule.  That might work when downloading from within aMule does not.

I have installed amule for the first time on a MacBook Pro sys 10.4.8 - it won't connect, no matter what connection preferences I put in.

Any clues?

(Yes, I did read ALL the instructions available online.)

Please help.
