Title: Suddenly most downoads stopped
Post by: Justin on January 18, 2007, 02:10:22 AM
Sometimes I find that amule is closed, even though I left my computer without turning it off, and all the other programs are still running. I have no idea why that is. Anyway, this time I came back to my computer, and when I open up amule again, it looks different. Before, some downloading things were blue, many were bright red. Now all the red ones are dull red. I guess before they were all "waiting", whereas now suddenly, 5 are blue, one is bright red (recently added) and 88 are "stopped". Why is that? What happened? Does it mean I have been blocked or something?
Thank you
Justin

Lack of disk space.

Ah. Yes I did run out of disk space, and then I deleted a lot of files to create space. Now also I managed to work out that I should select all files, and then choose "resume".
So will it always stop them all when my disk is full, and yet not resume them all when the space is freed up?
Thanks
Justin

As far as I know aMule will stop every download for which there isn't enough disk space. After freeing some disk space and waiting a while aMule should resume the downloads (that's what I remember at least).
