Hi I am a total idiot when it comes to computers and have no idea about all the technical stuff.
A friend downloaded and installed amule for me and it has been working fine unil this weekend. Now it is disconnected and I get the message below

At the bottom it says: "No vaild servers to connect in serverlist found" Can anyone advise me what to do? In plain english if possible - I am really not a computer person at all

You need to download a server list first. See http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Getting_Started#Connecting_to_a_Server.
(It probably couldn't hurt to read the rest of that page, too. :) )
Also, you might want to update to the most recent version of aMule.
