hi,
these days I've been switching from amule to amuled+amuleweb.
Downolads work as always, even I' not able to set them to "high" priority bas i was used to, even I don't think this wuold affect downloading time a lot.
The part I'm not understanding is how I can set up release (phoweshare) tag to files beiong downloaded. I see that those files are shared, but now the amule-gui neither the amuleweb interface show them. Downloaded files and arbitrary selected shared are shown but I'm not able to change their priority to release.
So the only way to share as release my donwloading and downloaded files is:
- stop amuled after I add new download and wait since the partial file is
- run monolithic amule
- within amule, share as release my partial & complete shared files.
- stop amule, then start amuled again.
My question is:
at which level is the "release" bit set?
and, Cuold I hack amule option to set added files as powershare/release modifing the feature that there's already in that permits to add downloaded files in auto mode (I'm not a programmer but if you point me to relevants bit of code I can start to play on something..)?
I'm using latest ubuntu packages of amule 2.1.3
