Title: - DONE- Two small improvments in the dock menu
Post by: jadrian on March 01, 2004, 12:11:25 PM
The dock menu could be a little simplified if it displayed only one of "connect"/"disconnect" (depending on wether you're connected or not), and only one of "show"/"hide" (depending on wether it is visible or not).

Dangerous the hide-show, because if a bug arises... you cannot show anymore.

Also, a morphing ui is not really good design. How about enabling/disabling (greying) options that don't make sense instead?

In KDE the standard behaviour is to hide/display the application by (left) clicking on the dock icon, right clicking it show options (don't know about other desktop environments). If it worked like this "hide-show" would not be that dangerous anymore becouse there would be an alternative.
