since I updated this morning,  the language of amule  is in chinese or japanese or something!

 i use xubuntu 6.06 and the source i added from this site  is:

#aMule 2.1.2 for Ubuntu Dapper i386
deb http://twemu.no-ip.org/apt/amule/dapper/ ./
deb-src http://twemu.no-ip.org/apt/amule/dapper/ ./

and I use version 2.1.3 is this a problem?
can anyone help me?

Hi Peter!

Please open the file ~/.aMule/amule.conf [~ is your home folder, e.g. /home/peter/] and tell us what the line "Language=" reads.

thanks for helping me, i am really  new with the open source world. sometimes it is fustrating to find things out  ???but it is great to find people who will help.

my language settingis:

Language=ko_KR

how can i change this back to dutch? or maybe english?

Edit the file, and change the line to read:

Language=en_US
for english, or simply
Language=
should use your default language. And the language was not chines, it was korean ;)

I know what mistake i made, i didn't open it with rootrights, thanks
