Title: connecting problems

I've just downloaded Amule, and have no idea how to connect, please help................

Have you tried launching aMule and clicking the "Connect" button in the upper left hand corner?

you downloaded amule, but did you install it? what happens if you open a terminal window and issue the "amule" command? (no quotes).
