Title: fr.po charset
Post by: wuischke on June 23, 2007, 12:42:37 PM
When compiling current svn, there's the following message:

Quote
fr.po: warning: Charset "" is not a portable encoding name.
Message conversion to user's charset might not work.

What charset is used in France? ISO-8859-1? Or should there be set UTF8?

Hi !

I'd like to contribute to the french translation but I don't know where to check SVN. Did you mean the CVS version ?

Thanks for your great job.

Hi guilo,

read http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=13194.msg70133#msg70133 (http://Translations for aMule 2.2.0) for all necessary information. You can download the po file by clicking on the name of the language in the translations page.

I've made some work but let some fields empty : I didn't understand what some features are intended to do.

Here is my po file.

Thanks, I've committed the translation. Maybe someone else will be able to translate the strings you couldn't understand.

The file.

Some things had to be heavily guessed as they are context dependant. It might have been useful to have a little more information.

Anyway, I think it's mostly ok.

Gimme a shout otherwise.

Merci beaucoup, je l'ai actualisé. ;)

Please feel free to contact me regarding the context, I'll look it up and try to explain it to you.
