Title: Can aMule useable on ssh or web interface?
Post by: Seregwethrin on August 04, 2007, 07:39:48 PM
Hello friends;

I've a remote CentOS installed computer. I'm using it with a ssh client.

I want to use eMule Network, but i am not useing any linux desktop.

Can aMule useable on ssh, or web intercafe? Can it continue downloading when there's no user logged in?

Thanks.

Download without logged in user IMHO is possible with amuleweb (only deamon, without gui) running as service...but i never tested...

This is correct, there is a deamon version of aMule called amuled, which will run in background and won't need any user logged in.

You can control the daemon using various tools: amulecmd (command line), amuleweb (webinterface) and amuleGUI, an experimental remote GUI in the same design as aMule.
