Title: i can not connect to amule
Post by: fredyupch on August 08, 2007, 01:14:39 AM
Hello everybody

I am using a macbook with Mac OS X, version 10.4.10 , Processor: 2 GHZ core 2 Duo, Memory: 1 GB .  My browser is Safari 3.0.3

I downloaded amule from amule.org, but when i tried to connect, it did not work; then  I went to the SERVER section and i tried to connect by clicking the SERVERLIST but appeared a little window(with a rabbit jumping) for 5 seconds and disappeared, then on the bottom of window i saw the following message: Failed to downloadthe server list from http:/ocbmaurice.dys.net/pl/slist.pl?download/server-

I really appreciate if you can help me in this problem

Regards

Fredy

I am confused using Amule. I dont know what to do to get it to connect. I went to server.met and downloaded something but that didnt change my connection status in amule. did I do something wrong in server.met?  ho do you connect to a torrent anyway?

aMule is not a bittorrent client, it's an ed2k client, therefore you cannot use it to get torrents. To make it to connect, download a server.met file, put it into aMule's folder (~/.aMule) and then restart aMule. You will see come servers in the Networks tab, just doubleclick a server to connect.

Regards.
