Title: aMule is slooooooooooow(not a question about download speed)
Post by: tmafcerqueira on August 14, 2007, 03:56:12 PM
Hey there,
My aMule is extremely slow, it's like I'm using 100% of the CPU(which I'm not). If I click a file it takes about 10 seconds to highlight it :o. You can imagine the rest of the stuff you need to do with amule... Is this normal in aMule(I'm new to aMule)? How can I solve this?
I don't know if this matters, but I'm using a temp folder on a external hard drive, connected with USB 2.0.
My aMule version is 2.1.3, it's the one on the debian testing repositories.

Ok, bigger problem, amule is now eating the CPU. It can go to 90% of CPU usage, that's what was causing the problems
