Hi,
I'm using Amuled on Debian Etch, but I can't connect to Kad network.
This is the "status" output from amulecmd:
aMulecmd$ status
> ED2K: Connected to ! + + + ( Ifreexxx.net >>... [194.30.160.81:4661] with HighID
> Kad: Not running
> Download: 18.05 kB/s
> Upload: 11.94 kB/s
> Clients in queue: 1350
> Total sources: 1118
What can I do to connect to Kad?
???

If you use amulecmd, just type connect kad. Maybe I confused something, if this doesn't work, just type man amulecmd on cmd-line, then <shift>+7 and then kad, so you should get the info needed.

Ok, I typed "connect kad" and the operation was succesful, but:
aMulecmd$ status
> ED2K: Connected to DonkeyServer No2 [62.241.53.16:4242] with HighID
> Kad: Connected (firewalled)
> Download: 11.65 kB/s
> Upload: 12.00 kB/s
> Clients in queue: 1411
> Total sources: 1535
In my router config I have port forwarding for ports 4462, 4672 and 4665. Is it right? Should I add another port?
Thank you for your help. :)

That's normal. I have firewalled for some time, too. If you get high-id, you can get ok for kad. Iirc it shows firewalled till the first kad trasfer.

Another question: how can I enable automatic kad network connection at amuled loading?
-
Search your configs for Connect and you'll see

In the amule.conf file I have "ConnectToKad=1", but it doesn't connect automatically...
