Emule works perfectly under XP (Sony VAIO)
.Windows XP Pro
.Emule latest version.
.BT Home Hub
.New application created via Bt Home Hub (named "Emule_Pc"), ports TCP:6000 UDP:4876
However, I have got a serious problem under MAC OSx:
.Imac 20" duo core
. Mac Osx 10.4
.Bt Home Hub (= UK historic provider wireless rubb*sh router)
.Amule 2.1.3
>>> Problem: Low-id, Low id, Lowid <<<
Have tried:
> Used "default" listed application Edonkey with default ports (in BT home hub & changed Amule settings to reflect BT Home Hub default ports)
>>> Low-id :(
> Created new application (Custom) called "Emule_mac" and also "Emule.exe" and allocated port correclty (used both default ports 4672 / 4662 and others) to desktop using fixed IP
>>> Low-id :(
I read a lot of threads about Emule and BT HOME HUB but nothing about Amule and BT HOME HUB ... and frankly, I don't get it ...
Someone mentioned that for any "custom" applications, we must add the full name of the programme (i.e emule.EXE) but this is ok for a PC, what about for MACINTOSH ?
Please help !
