hi people

1st of all, thanks for this good mule client !

I wish just to report, hoping not for a duplicate (I did a fast search and seems not)
when amule crashes hard (I mean in some horrible/rare way, or when I have to emergency reboot the system) every settings I tuned (directories, sources... everything in settings menu) gets wiped to defaults.

I really wish for personal for a more robust settings handling for 2.2.0 - may it be ?

Hello,

I had the same problem and my solution was:
1. You make your settings.
2. You close "normally" Amule (the settings are normally save)
3. You open Amule (with the new settings)

Even that doesn't necessarily help. My amuled wipes the config file every other crash even if nothing has been changed.

My solution is to just keep a backup and copy it back after the mule has eaten the previous one.
