When trying to connect to amuled with amulegui, I get this:
ZLib operation returned Z_DATA_ERROR
ZLib error message: incorrect data check
zstream state:
next_in=0xb5d348b3
avail_in=0
total_in=522411
next_out=0x73730883
avail_out=1110547642
total_out=1553251
RLE_Data: decoding error. 3 bytes decoded to 3 instead of 76
[1]+ Segmentation fault amulegui
I searched the forum and saw a similar question asked without any replies.
I use openSuSe 10.2 i386. I compiled amule cvs from about a week ago.
Interestingly it started while I was still using the stable version. Then I recompiled since I needed 4Gb+ and expected this to go away, but it is still here. Moreover, this happened only occasionally before, now it is consistent.
Any suggestions welcome,
Thank you.

You say this error is consistent? What are you viewing (downloads/shared/search) while it happens? Is it some specific file?
-
Nothing specific. The only thing it has time to download is server list (default page?) then it crashes whether I switch to other pages or not.

... it has time to download is server list (default page?) then it crashes whether I switch to other pages or not.
Sorry, but I dont understand this sentence.
-
Sorry. It loads the first page (tab), which is a list of available servers, and then crashes.
The other pages, like the list of files I'm downloading remains empty. Also, stats (at the bottom of the window) like up/download speed are not populated.
Thanks.

I use the command line client 99% of the time, but I still would like to know why amulegui crashes with a zlib error.
If that makes any difference, I never run the GUI interface locally on the computer where amuled is running. I either forward port 4712 to another machine and run it there or just forward X session to another computer.
I tried compiling amulegui on two different machines (both openSuse 10.2 x32.) I'll try compiling today on another maching running openSuse 10.3 x64.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Thank you.

I was able to get it to run a few times by forwarding X session to another computer. I still can't get it to run by forwarding port 4712 though.
Any ideas?
