Let me explain: my incoming and temp directories are the same for aMule in Linux and eMule in Windows. If I start a download with aMule in Linux, next time I boot to windows I can resume the download. The reverse is not true, if I start a download in Windows, aMule can't see it...

Have you tried using the "import" option? It's on the toolbar.
I'm running aMule 2.2.0 and that's how I imported my old eMule downloads.
Now if you're asking how to make this transparent like how eMule does it for aMule... I don't know.

Thank you for your reply.
Yes I did try using import, and it says " Importing /media/hda7/emule/Temp/002.part.met: Unknown or bad tempfile format."

aMule uses the same format as eMule for downloads. I've done what you are trying to do and it works fine. I just had to use a FAT32 partition for my temp/incoming folders, but it worked beautifully.
Regards.

I think I found the problem, and maybe it's a amule limitation/bug. It's a very large file: around 6 Gb. Smaller files work just fine.

Use a more recent aMule.

Hey, thanks, that fixed it. I was using latest stable version from ubuntu repos (2.1.3). I compiled latest CVS and now it sees the 6 Gb file! Great work.
