Hi @ all
I'm chganging my server from a linox OS to a Mac.
On the suse-server I managed, somehow, to bring the amuledaemon to work and even enabled the amuleweb-daemon.
Now I'm trying to do the same an my Mac.
I installed the standard-version of amule for Mac which immediatzely went to work. Then I checked the option "run amuleweb at startup" and the option "accept external connection is enabled too.
The amule-log-file states that amuleweb is running and that access is granted.
When I login with the wrong password via browser in also states: incorrect password.
If I use the corrrect one it starts off loading the frameset but in each frame the login-screen is displayed again.
So we think that there is a problem in the php-output. But on the other hand we were able to get an output using a string variable.
Right now, we are a bit at the end of our wits, but hopefully some good soul will see this problem and provide us with a helping line... :-)
All the best

This means that amuleweb had connected to core, and EC password found to be OK. All fine at this point

All fine here, too

OK, you have to clean cookies in your browser. And please tell, which version of aMule are you using, since (I thought) I corrected to problem already.

Hey lfroen,
first of all: THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
Please don't ask me why, but it worked!!!!!
I erased the cookies and now it works perfectly well.
Two more questions before I can really install the mle on the server:
a) would you recommand to compile the amule or is it enough to simply use the drag'n drop version?
b) How can I manage to start amule without the login? I would like to have it running before any user is connected.
All the best

a) I have no idea. I have no Mac, but if precompiled version works fine for you, so be it. On the other hand, you are welcomed to compile SVN snapshots and report problems
b) You have to use amuled i.e. daemon version of aMule. Again, I have no idea how to configure it on Mac. There's rc file for Linux if you curious to check.

Hi lfroen,
I use the daemon on my Linux-server. The point is, that i havent found it for mac, but i need to admit i haven't really looked for it. I will strip-search this forum, i'm quite sure, that somewhere there is a hint.
Thank again

Hi iprecious,
I compiled recent cvs versions for Tiger (universal binary) and I included amuled, too.
