This is a long, loooooooooooooong standing problem. It is a bug in the wxWidgets library but I believe aMule devs should have implemented some fallback by now, like getting rid of that STOOOPID JUMPING RABBIT that crashes aMule.

It is fixed in the debelopmental version for quite a while now, iirc.

What distribution do you use juankvillegas?

You can find packages for your distro in this section:

It is fixed in the debelopmental version for quite a while now, iirc.

"Fixed in the development version", which is equivalent to "go checkout from source control, compile it yourself, and deal with all newly introduced bugs in the development version", is not an acceptable answer to an end user. The rabid rabbit bug was present in 2.1.2 and at the very least a quick'n'dirty fix like an option to disable all GIF animations should have been added in 2.1.3, period. This crash effectively disables major security-related functionality in aMule. With a gaping hole this big the 2.1.x series is not really of release quality.

This is a simple issue:

aMule is free, open source and as far as I know the developers are working on it in his free time, ok?

If you believe this is not an acceptable answer, I am very sorry but I think that nobody has the right to demand anything.

Today the development versions are much more stable than the 2.1.3. It is the summer of 2006 (aMule 2.13) if I am not mistaken. In other words it has been almost a year and a half and that in GNU/Linux or Mac and that it is too long.

Sorry for my bad English xD
