Title: Download Almost Complete Then Amount Drops To Lower Number Over And Over

Often on large downloads aMule will progress to an almost completed total downloaded value (i.e., Completed almost equals Size....not to be confused with Transferred, which often exceeds Size). Then suddenly the value of the Completed portion of the download will drop back to a much lower number. This recurs over and over again, until I have to just clear the incomplete download.

Is there a reason? One that can be corrected? Or are these just corrupt files? Based on the number of available servers for these files, one would think many, many users are downloading/uploading them. Someone else must be experiencing this.

Yeah this is because the download you received for whatever piece is corrupt. If you go into the log youll find that it says AICH recovered so many MB out of piece number whatever for file whatever. You can turn off AICH. or trust all hashes or whatever..
