Title: Installation on Mandrake 10
Post by: Capsad on March 28, 2004, 01:50:35 AM
Hi,
I'm using Mandrake 10 and when I try to install amule, I always get errors because I don't have wxBase 2.4.2 and wxGTK installed. Whe I try to install "wxBase-2.4.2-1.i586.rpm" I get that error:

file /usr/bin/wx-config from install of wxBase-2.4.2-1 conflicts with file from package libwxgtk2.5-devel-2.5.0-0.cvs20030817.1mdk
.
.
.
can anyone help me to solve that problem?
thanks
Capsad

Hi,

NEVER install wx rpms from Mandrake, they are linked against GTK2 ...

Use Delta's RPMS or compile it yourself following Delta's how to, and then aMule works GREAT :)
