Hi! I have a ADSL router+modem Mentor MR4/A4.
-I have one entry in DHCP to assign the IP 192.168.8.2 for my machine (based on MAC address).
- I have DMZ enabled for my IP
- I have 64/16 in my connection limits and 55/10 in bandwith limits
- I can connect to servers with HighID and the
edonkey net tester (http://www.preinheimer.com/cgi-bin/connectiontest/connectiontest.cgi) gives sucess
But my situation is that I have my uploads at maximium speed, and my dowloads are most of the time at 0 (zero).
I have instaled amule 2.0.0rc1 yesterday, and now I have 346.12MB of uploaded data and 56.49MB of downloaded data.
I have files with a lot of sources like 50,100,300 and even 600...
I can't understand what is happening.. I can download fine with DC, http, ftp...
I've made a mirror of the web interface of my router here (http://alunos.uevora.pt/~l15884/router/192.168.8.1/index.html)
it can be usefull I think. my actual settings are not the same...
I really need help.. I don't know what more I can do...
-
u know that your credits.met file got replaced now ?
-
yes! I know.. but this happens with the 1.2.6 version too.. and I should have a lot of credits....
One question: Once I have DMZ acitve, do I need to set port forwarding?
-
no, this release has got new secureident, so you lost all your credits
-
I know... but after about 350MB of uploading I sould be downloading at 10Kb/s.. at leat... the maximium speed I've got was 5KB, and for a short time... And there are always users with the credits system disabled...
-
nono, u have to enable it in your preferences ;)
-
where can I enable it? ?(
-
preferences - connections - "use sec.ident"
-
it's set now :) now let's prey for results...
-
the same story with secure ident... ;(
7KB/s upload and 0.0 download... :(
-
I can't believe! This says everything:
Session UL:DL Ratio (Total): 488.78:1
Uploaded Data (Session (Total)): 13.49 (710.26MB)
Downloaded Data (Session (Total)): 42KB (82.86MB)
Please help me!!!!!!

I have disabled DMZ in my router and enabled port forwarding (both TCP & UDP from 4662 to 4672) but I have the same problem....
I really despaired because I don't know what more can I do...
-
there's anybody out there that could help me??????
I would like to download some stuff....
-
u have to forward 2 UDP's .. the 2nd one is tcp+3 -> 4665 then on your side
-
but I've forwarded both UDP& TCP from 4662 to 4672...
and even with DMZ enabled I can't download..... :(
-
no more hints????
What more I can do???
Sould I give a big kick on my router??? I don't want to do it because I don't have money to buy another one... and without net I'm a dead man....
I'm tired to see a lot of guys sucking my files... and my download queue don't move...
I really don't know where is the problem:
- I have port forward enabled for UDP& TCP from 4662 to 4672
- I should have some credits after upload about 1GB
- Direct connect works nice (dcgui-qt)
- I can connect with highID
- the edonkey nettester gives me sucess
- The only thing that don't work is amule downloads...
-
You can try wiith a friend or someone at #amule if they can share you some file to test.

:baby:
It's solved!
The problem was with my ISP. I've changed the amule ports and now it's working fine...
Thank for everyone!!!
